The American Red Cross will presents Prepare with Pedro! A 30- to 45-minute preparedness education program for grades K-2 that teaches students how to BE PREPARED and TAKE ACTION for either home fires or a local hazard by reading a story featuring a penguin named Pedro. Girl Scouts will learn a coping skill and receive a storybook to share what they have learned at home.

Troop Leaders must have Beyond the Meeting training and follow all guidelines for day trips outside the regular troop meeting, which includes permission slips, green sheets, girl/adult ratio, and first aider.

Cancellation Policy
All activities require advance registration and payment by the registration deadline.

• All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. • In the event activity fees do not require a deposit, full payment is required for registration. • Cancellations must be received before the registration deadline. • There are no refunds after the registration deadline.

The individual making the registration will be responsible for any balance due for:

• cancellations received after the registration deadline • any balance due for girls who are "no shows"

On occasion, a third-party event will not allow refunds at any time after a registration has been made, this will be noted in the event description.

In the event that GSEOK has to cancel a program, a full refund including the deposit will be provided. This policy includes all methods of payment including those made with Cookie Program Credit.
