Love architecture or building things? Interested in engineering?
Cookie Construction 2023 teams Girl Scouts with women architects and engineers in a design contest to turn empty Girl Scout Cookie boxes into giant free-standing structures.
- Structure designs will be based on 2023’s theme “Girl Scouts Dream Big.”
- Teams* will be judged on originality, creativity, technical difficulty, teamwork, and an advance meeting with their mentor.
- Once registered Team Advisors will receive an email with further instructions, competition rules, building guidelines, and deadlines along with information about their mentor.
- Time commitment will include a few design meetings prior to event on March 9.
Teams will build structures Thursday, March 9, from 4:00p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the Tulsa Home & Garden Show! Their structures will then be on display throughout the weekend.
To Apply: Team Advisors will register themselves and their team members.
- Teams must be 5-10 Girl Scouts
- Girl Scouts must be 6th grade and older
- Up to two adults can help the team with their construction in an advisor role, however, Girl Scouts will be primary builders.
*Teams can be a troop, group of individual registered Girl Scouts, or Girl Scouts from various troops.
